Depart from the 'Old HQ' at the ex-WW2 Ardmore airfield, the home of the NZ Warbirds Association. Turn north and pass over the jet aircraft and large runway of Auckland International Airport. Look down in style on Auckland, into the volcanic craters of One Tree Hill, Mt Eden and Auckland Domain. Take in the view over Auckland City, the Harbour Bridge and the Viaduct, circuit the SkyTower, and orbit both sides of our spectacular Auckland Harbour. Head over to the desirable North Shore, then toward the crater of Rangitoto Island, turning south and follow the Eastern Beaches landing back at Ardmore - the home of your DC-3.

Reservations: These are essential for planning our Flights.You can book up to 6 months ahead. We can then advise you if the DC-3 will be away for Annual maintenance, at an Air-show or on a Charter. On your flight day: Flights depart - weather permitting, technical, and minimum passenger numbers. (You will be notified within 24-36 hours if there are known 'Departure considerations' due to technical and passenger numbers.) A decision on 'weather on the day' will be made at 8 am on Sunday morning and all Passengers who have reserved seats will be contacted. Please provide your cellphone text number, or a landline with an a/phone. If you don't hear from us by 8:30am, Ph: 0274 382 297. At Ardmore: The DC-3 Crew Desk will be open 45 minutes before departure. (10:15am) Seat allocations will be planned to ensure that couples, groups and passengers booked together - are seated together.
Flight fares (as of July 1st 2007) NZ$80.00 for Adults. (16 - 64 years) NZ$70.00 'Golden Oldie' (Over 65 years). NZ$60.00 for Children (4 - 15yrs.) (Up to 4yrs free if on parent or guardian's knee). NZ$130.00 'Big n Little' (Adult and Child).
